Chesni's Birthday!

Chesni turned 1 yesterday!! We spent the day at my sister Dawnelle's house and she was kind enough to make Chesni a cake! She got an entire cake all to herself and let me tell you, that girl is not afraid to dig in! Here she is at the beginning, so happy and clean!
As soon as we put the cake in front of her she started digging in!

She was such a good sharer too. She shared her cake with Dawnelle, Mommy, and Daddy. She just kept grabbing chunks and holding it out for people!



Yum!! I think she mostly liked the texture. She loved shoving her hands into the cake and then playing with her hands. But when she started clapping, it was quite the messy clap!
Here's the finished product!! She started rubbing her eye and then started crying because she got cake in her eye, poor baby :( But I think she did a pretty good job of destroying that cake!
We will be doing the present part of her birthday next week after our stuff is delivered. We didn't want to bring her presents with us and we figured she would forgive us for being a week or so late. At least she got the cake part!
