The Great American Clean-up

We participated in the Rockdale County chapter of the Great American Clean-up last weekend. I was a little worried about the kids and being by a busy road but the kids were surprisingly good and keep asking if we can go clean up some more trash! The service project lasted 4 hours and we got through 2 of them before the kids were done. Once we finished up we went to the park where we started at and let the kids play for a while and then got our free lunch and went home. It was a fun morning and hopefully the kids are learning that service is fun and rewarding.
