Georgia Peaches

 One of the last things we did in Georgia (and I mean very last :)) was going peach picking!  And look at all those peaches!  I couldn't bring myself to leave GA without taking some of those amazing GA peaches with us.  So we spent a morning picking peaches with friends and then spent the next 3 days canning them.

 Here is my good friend Hitomi and my mom peeling lots and lots of peaches.  So many yummy peaches. Seriously, tons.

I wish I had kept the final jar count but we filled at least 4 dozen quart jars with peaches and made about a dozen jars of spiced peach jam as well.  I will have to take a picture of my pantry one of these days and post it, I love how beautiful all our jars of peaches are!  I am happy to have a piece of GA here with us in Arizona and some fun memories with our Southern friends!
